Hall Apgar, PhD

Dawn Hall Apgar, PhD received a Bachelor of
Arts in Psychology from Bucknell University and a Master’s Degree in
Social Work from Rutgers University. She has also earned a PhD in Social Work from Rutgers
University. Dr. Apgar is a leader in the social work field and
immediate past President of the National Association of Social Workers - New Jersey Chapter (NASW-NJ). She
is also the Chairperson of the NASW-NJ Continuing Education Committee and
serves on the Boards of Directors of several non-profit organizations.
Currently, Dr. Apgar serves on the Board of Directors of the National
Association of Social Workers as the Region IV Representative. She
also serves on the Board of Directors of the Institute for the Advancement
of Social Work Research (IASWR).
Paul Lerman, DSW

Paul
Lerman, DSW, Principal Investigator of the Developmental Disabilities
Planning Institute, recently retired as a Distinguished Professor from
Rutgers University after teaching Doctorate and Masters students for 25
years. He is the author of Deinstitutionalization and the Welfare State
Community Treatment and Social Control, as well as numerous scholarly
articles and monographs.
Tameeka A. Jordan, MA
Data Management & Analyses Supervisor, Developmental Disabilities
Planning Institute
Center for Architecture and Building Science Research
Tameeka A. Jordan, MA, has worked for the Institute since 1998. She has
previously worked with other research projects that include the Family
Development Evaluation Project at Rutgers University and the
Developmental Disabilities Family Support Project at the University of
Medicine and Dentistry (UMDNJ) of New Jersey. She received a Bachelor of
Arts with Honors in Psychology from Rutgers University and Master's in
Educational Psychology with a concentration in Child & Adolescent
Clinical Psychology from Montclair State University. She is currently
enrolled in the Applied Developmental Psychology Doctoral Program at
Fordham University. Tameeka is also a student affiliate of the American
Psychological Association.
Lynn Hutchings, M.Arch
Research Assistant
Center for Architecture and Building Science Research
Lynn Hutchings, M.Arch,
and Ph.D. student in Social Work at Rutgers University, has been
researching the needs of people with developmental disabilities for the
past ten years. Her work has focused on environmental issues affecting
people with developmental disabilities and aging with developmental
disabilities. Lynn works with both the Developmental Disabilities Planning
Institute and the Health Care and Aging Division of the Center for
Architectural and Building Science Research. Lynn has a Bachelor's degree
from Beaver College, and Master's Degrees from Rutgers University and New
Jersey Institute of Technology.
